The people running Claude in Southern California

Six ambassadors across Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. Twenty-two events since December 2025, more than two thousand registrations.

People talking between sessions at a Claude community event.

SoCal ambassadors

Claude Ambassador is an official title, conferred by Anthropic, not taken by running an event. Where the directory has not caught up with a recent appointment, the card names who confirmed it rather than pointing at an entry that is not there yet.

Nobody was assigned a city. Evan Grenda opened Los Angeles, Travis Johnson opened Orange County, and San Diego was already running when Max Krueger picked it up in its second week.

Ambassadors worldwide

Southern California is one region in a programme that runs in cities worldwide. We keep no global roster here; clauders.com is the directory the ambassadors maintain themselves.

Southern California, north to south

Santa Barbara · Los Angeles · Orange County · San Diego

Twenty-two events, six ambassadors, four metros, since December 2025.

Become an ambassador

You run Claude events in your own metro: choose the format, find the room, invite the people, stand at the door. No quota, no script. The four formats on the home page are a starting point, not a requirement.

Most people start smaller than they expect — a dozen people around a table on a Saturday morning counts. San Diego’s second event drew twelve, and it is now the busiest calendar in the region.

How this actually works

We do not select ambassadors. Anthropic runs the programme and decides who joins it, so what follows is a pointer, not an application we control.

  • Start at clauders.com — the ambassador directory and the front door to the programme
  • Already running Claude events in Southern California? Tell us and we will list them here either way
  • We do not publish an application link, because there is no application we run
