The room

San Diego got there first: the December 2025 meetup predates every event outside San Diego by more than two months, and its 757 registrations are still the largest single number on the calendar by a distance.

It is also the most spread out: downtown, the Marina, Rancho Bernardo, La Jolla and forty miles north in Carlsbad. The people who show up are not all in the same part of the county.

It goes deepest on format too: three Impact Labs, a Conversation, and a Cowork workshop built for transitioning veterans. The labs run long. The March one ran nine hours.

Who runs it

Max Krueger, a Claude Community Ambassador in San Diego, has hosted nine of the ten. The December 2025 meetup was run by Chad Lohrli, Dhruv Kanetkar and Liam Dwight. Venues: Cadre AI, Casper Studios, Kiln Rancho Bernardo.
